This page concerns the privacy policies of the Versus-All website and its readers. If you are concerned about how your information is used, and which information is taken in the first place, then peruse this page to find answers to your questions.

Where applicable, the term “You” refers to all users and readers of Versus-All, while “us” refers to the collective owners of Versus-All, including the writers, editors, webmasters and researchers.

What Information we Take From You

Versus-All is a content site, so there are very few occasions in which we would actually request information from you. Such occasions do exist though and they include:

  • Contact Forms: If you send us a message through one of our contact forms then we request that you give us your name and your email address. This is simply so that we can send you a reply, should one be needed. We request your email address so we know where to send that reply, and we request your name so we know how to address you. This basic information is all that we request.
  • Write for Us Submissions: If you apply to Write for Us then we will request specific details from you. These include an email address, a name, and other basic information that we will use to construct a bio should one be needed. We will also ask for a writing sample from you so that we can judge your skills. In the event that we use this writing or that we will request your services as a writer, you will be sent further terms and conditions to give you an idea of how things will progress.
  • Newsletters: Although these are not always available, there will come a time when we run a newsletter. All readers of the Versus-All website will be given the opportunity to signup to this if and when they want to. They will be asked for their email address and they may also supply their name, but nothing else is needed.

How We Use Your Information

Your information will only be used for the purposes it was gathered, and this will be explained to you at the time it is gathered. We take email addresses so we know where to send correspondence and periodic newsletters; we take names so we know how to address you.

We do not take any sensitive personal information and we do not take financial details of any kind. You can remain as anonymous as you want when you leave your details with us and in many cases there will be no option to leave any sensitive information.

How we Keep your Information Safe

As mentioned above, we keep your information safe simply by not taking any sensitive information from you in the first place. In an age of cyber crime and fraud we understand that even email addresses and names can be sensitive, so we still endeavor to keep this basic information private and confidential at all times.

Once we have used this information we will either store it safely on our servers or on third-party servers, or we will delete it straight away. In all cases this information will never be accessed by anyone other than the owners and operators of Versus-All and they will always ensure that it remains private and confidential.

Your information will never be sold, leased, traded or given away; it will never be used for marketing purposes; and it will never be exposed to anyone who can use it to do harm.
